# Start a bank link for a deal

Mints the short-lived Plaid Link token the desktop app opens the bank's login with, under this workspace's own Plaid credentials. It grants nothing on its own: the link is only real once the browser's public token is exchanged. Answers 503 when the workspace has not connected Plaid under Settings, Integrations.

Access class: `def:read`.
