# Delete a record group

Dissolves a record group and its membership. THE RECORDS STAY on the board — the delete stops at the membership rows and has deliberately no path onward to the records themselves — and the timeline entry says how many were released. Use it when a grouping turns out to be wrong.

Access class: `def:read`.
