# Change definitions key columns columnId

Changes one column's presentation: `label` (up to 80 characters), `defaultEnabled`, `minWidth` (40-800), `alignEnd`, `starred` (whether the Add-row dialog asks for this column up front) and `config`. A patch CANNOT change a column's kind — `config` is validated against the kind already on the row — and an absent field is left alone. Answers 204; the column id must be on this page. Workspace admin.

Access class: `def:admin`.
