# Waive an obligation

Drops an obligation that will not be met — the desk decides it is no longer required. Body: `reason` is REQUIRED, in the handler and in the table, so a reasonless waiver cannot be written by any writer. Completing one that was actually satisfied is `post_obligations_id_complete`.

Access class: `workspace`.
