# Read the addresses the workspace sends and receives on

Every mailbox this workspace has connected: the provider (`gmail` or `outlook`), the address, whether the connection is proven, and when it last synced. A MAILBOX IS A SENDING IDENTITY — the watched account mail arrives at AND the address the workspace's own email goes out as — not a folder of mail and not a thread: to read what was said, `get_comms_conversations` and `get_comms_texts`. A workspace with nothing here has no address of ours to leave from, and its outbound email fails `no_from_address`, which is what this read answers when somebody asks why email will not go.
