# Read who may see messages by default

The workspace's default visibility, keyed by medium ("sms") and by inbox ("sms:+15550100", "email:jordan@acme.com") — what becomes of a thread when nobody says otherwise. Any seat: what happens to a message you send is not a secret from you.
