# Change accounting deal-splits id

Corrects a stake's terms. Body, all optional: `basis`, `sharePpm`, `flatAmountMinor`, `notes`. Who the stake is FOR cannot be patched — that makes it a different stake, so retire this one with `post_accounting_deal-splits_id_deactivate` and add its successor. Hold is its own pair of verbs so that the reason is required and the timestamps are checked in pairs.

Access class: `workspace`.
