# Remove a deal from the ledger

Destroys a funded deal's economics row, and with it the record of what that deal earned. The admin seat. A deal that has already paid somebody cannot be deleted at all — the payout pins its stake and the stake pins the deal — which answers 409. To take a deal out of the books without destroying it, patch its `status` instead.

Access class: `workspace:admin`.
